The Yorkton Terriers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League had two games in the week leading up to Christmas break. On Wednesday, Dec. 14, the Terriers faced the Melfort Mustangs on home ice at the Farrell Agencies Arena.

The Yorkton RawTec Maulers of the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League split a two-game series with the Prince Albert Mintos over the past weekend. The Mintos currently sit in fifth place in the league, and the Maulers are in sixth.

The Yorkton Kinsmen ‘AA’ Terriers of the SSMHL Midget Division hosted three home games this past weekend in Yorkton. The team currently holds a 16-4-2 record, putting them in third place of the thirteen teams in their league.

The Yorkton Terriers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League played three games in the past week. Two of which were on the road as they traveled to Macklin on Thursday, Dec.

The Yorkton RawTec Maulers of the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League hosted two home games this past weekend – a series against the Battlefords Stars.

The Yorkton Xerox Terriers of the Saskatchewan Bantam AA Hockey League are currently sitting in first place in their division, which is the South Division of the league. Out of eleven teams, Yorkton sits in first with a record of 12-2-2.

From Dec. 2-4, the Yorkton Atom A hockey teams hosted a tournament at home. Games were split between the Farrell Agencies Arena and the Yorkton Kinsmen Arena.

Regan Seiferling, a defenseman for the Yorkton Terriers, was one of 22 players named to Canada West for the 2016 World Junior A Challenge. Seiferling attended tryouts last year, but didn’t make the cut for the team. But this year, he did it.

The Yorkton RawTec Maulers of the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League played two games away from home last weekend, and they came back to Yorkton with two wins. On Saturday, Dec. 3 they played in Saskatoon against the Saskatoon Contacts.

This past weekend the Yorkton Gardon Crushers of the South Saskatchewan Female Bantam A Hockey League attended the Regina Female Challenge. There were six bantam A division with teams from Weyburn, Winnipeg, Leroy, Yorkton and Regina (2).
