The Yorkton Terriers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) have officially signed a full time assistant coach. Mat Hehr came on board with the Terriers last week, and has a lot of experience to offer.

The Yorkton Terriers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League are almost through their long away-game stretch. The Terriers have not played on their home ice at the Farrell Agencies Arena since Oct. 21, when they beat Melfort 4-1.

The Yorkton Terriers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League are in the middle of a long streak of away games. They’ve had a hard time finishing on top while playing away from their home ice at the Farrell Agencies Arena (FAA).

We did some things a little bit differently this week. We had some fun practices and some short practices, working on different things. It paid off tonight.

The Yorkton Terriers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League played two games on home ice over the last week. On Tuesday, Oct. 11 they faced the Estevan Bruins at the Farrell Agencies Arena.

Brett Kemp of Yorkton is one of only 66 players chosen from across Canada to represent the country at the 2016 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge. The selected players will be divided into three teams to attend the tournament in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.

The Yorkton RawTec Maulers of the Saskatchewan AAA Midget Hockey Club are sitting on a 4-4 record after this past weekend of play.

Last weekend, the Yorkton RawTec Maulers of the Saskatchewan AAA Hockey Club played two games at the Farrell Agencies Arena, but they weren’t in their normal orange, white and black jerseys. Instead, the Maulers unveiled brand new pink jerseys.

The Yorkton Gardon Crushers female bantam hockey team started their season this past weekend in Yorkton, where they faced off twice against the Regina Cougars at the Kinsmen Arena.
