UPDATE: DeeDee Steele has been located deceased on the Thunderchild First Nation. Turtleford RCMP along with Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes Unit worked in consultation with the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service in this investigation.

56 new cases from Saturday-Monday

There are 31 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on July 13. In addition, there were two cases reported on July 11 and 23 cases reported on July 12. This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases in Saskatchewan to 871, as of July 13.

The town of Battleford is the latest community to seek provincial assistance after last week’s heavy rain event.

Thank you for all your inquiries as to our monthly letter, which has not appeared in this paper for several months. As you know much has changed in our world due to COVID 19, and we expect there will be many long lasting affects yet to come.
