Anyone expecting the Flin Flon Bombers to roll over on Teddy Bear Toss Night at the Civic Centre were in for a rude surprise.

On Saturday, Dec. 14 at approximately 9:30 a.m., Battlefords RCMP received several 911 calls indicating that there was a hysterical female screaming in the middle of the road on the 900 block of 110th Street in North Battleford.

The team of Robyn Silvernagle was knocked out of playoff action in the quarterfinals of the BOOST National at Conception By, Newfoundland. They lost 6-3 to the Tracy Fleury team.

The four-game losing streak is history as the Battlefords North Stars scored an important 3-2 win over the team chasing them in the overall SJHL standings, the Flin Flon Bombers.

The North Battleford-based curling team of Robyn Silvernagle has made the playoffs at the BOOST National in Conception Bay South, Newfoundland.
