A 69-year-old Saskatoon man is facing charges of criminal breach of trust, fraud over $5,000 and laundering proceeds of crime following a joint investigation by the Saskatoon Police Service and the Saskatoon RCMP.

RCMP have said in a release Matthew Shaundel Michel was arrested Thursday afternoon at the Sunset Estates, east of Saskatoon. Michel travelled in a stolen vehicle from the Warman area to the Humboldt area.

The City of North Battleford has agreed to sell land on 741-110th Street to Lesmeister Construction for developing a proposed parking lot.
