The number one seed Battleford Beaver Blues brought their A game this weekend, beating Shellbrook 7-1 as part of Saskatchewan Prairie Hockey League playoffs. The Beaver Blues dominated the second half of the game.

The Battlefords North Stars fourth straight division title will surely go down as their toughest to win. It took an overtime goal by Braydon Buziak for the North Stars to prevail 4-3 over the Kindersley Klippers in the season finale.
