The City of North Battleford is entering into a new occupancy agreement with the RCMP. The RCMP has had an agreement with the City for their detachment building since 2003. It is now being renewed for another 10 years.

MAIDSTONE — Maidstone Communities in Bloom recently dedicated a pergola in Memory Lane Park to the work and commitment of Marg McLaren in the Maidstone area. Family and friends were present for the ceremony Sept. 29.

A proposed Community Safety Officer program review report will go ahead, but not until next year. City Manager Randy Patrick made a recommendation to council that a report on the progress of that program be presented in November 2019.

The North Battleford Comprehensive Vikings couldn't generate much offence in the first half of their game against the Bishop James Mahoney Saints and couldn't make up for the deficit later in the game. The Vikings trailed 28-1 at one point.
