Dear Editor Like many people in North Battleford and area I have had to use the victim services unit at the local RCMP detachment. I continue to make use of this wonderful service although, like many, I wish I didn’t have to.

The City of North Battleford adopted the Downtown Revitalization Action Plan in 2017. Currently, this is the only neighbourhood with commercial and residential development incentives.

Former MP honoured in Lloydminster

Digna Rico started her weekend with a big surprise. The North Battleford resident won $1,000,000 on one of the 28 Maxmillions draws on Friday, Sept. 28. Rico went to the gas bar the morning after the draw and decided to check her Lotto Max ticket.

A fire at the Unity’s North West Terminal rain dryer had emergency responders on the scene at 7:20 a.m. Thursday. Unity firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze that was contained to the dryer.
