Living Faith Chapel hosted the second annual Ho Ho Ho Lego Festival Fundraiser over the weekend. A number of young builders displayed their Lego designs, and the fundraiser earned $1,400. All proceeds are going to Crystal’s Home.

Battlefords Publishing had a special surprise last Friday for the Battlefords Humane Society. A cash donation of $121 was presented, the amount raised from a staff fundraiser held earlier that day.

Saskatchewan will lead Canada in economic growth in 2018 and 2019, according to the most recent RBC Economics Provincial Outlook. The report projects growth of 2.7 per cent for both years, compared to 1.9 per cent in 2018 and 1.

Ten students from North Battleford Comprehensive High School participated in a graduation ceremony on Friday, Dec. 8, after completing the 10-week judo program.
