Candlelight Processional donated $4,365 of its earnings from its performances at the Dekker Centre in November to the Cardiac Telemetry Monitoring System at the Battlefords Union Hospital.

Brrrr! The North Stars vs. Kindersley Klippers game scheduled for tonight at 7:30 at tje Civic Centre in North Battleford has been cancelled due to cold. It has been postponed to Wednesday, Jan. 3.

The wrapping paper has all been recycled, the gifts are being enjoyed and the downtime of after Christmas has begun. The weekend will bring New Year’s celebrations and no matter what your plans are, ensure they include a safe ride home.

The Meota Christmas Concert was once again a combined effort of Christmas merriment and joy. Our Christmas spirit is indeed alive! The Meota Communiplex was sold out at 400-plus in attendance.

There is never a slow season in the quaint village of Medstead, and Christmas time of 2017 is certainly no different. Even before solstice, the mark of the commencement of winter, the spirit of the season fell upon the community.
