After nine years as general manager at Gold Eagle Lodge, and a lifetime in the hotel industry, Malcolm Anderson is taking on a new challenge: that of retirement. His last day of work at Gold Eagle Lodge was Friday, June 2.

On Saturday, June 3, 2017, Elias Anastasios Giannoulis passed away after a long but courageous battle with depression at the age of 22. Elias was born on December 5, 1994, in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. He was the youngest of three siblings.
