Dear Editor Ever since I read it, a letter which first appeared in The Globe and Mail and then The Manitoba Co-Operator keeps coming back to mind to irritate me.

Dear Editor This letter is in praise of Emergency at the Battlefords Union Hospital. Like others I, too, have complained about sitting in Emergency for hours.

Dear Editor In reply to Gerry Ritz “Liberal carbon tax will neuter your revenue.” Well, here we go again, another supposedly responsible member of parliament, basically denying the existence of man made climate change.

Unity/Wilkie/Macklin RCMP are seeking the public’s help in solving a theft from a farmyard near Wilkie last week. According to police, on May 23 at around 2:30 a.m. a farmyard was entered and numerous items were stolen from a building.

Conservatives in Battlefords-Lloydminster were among those responsible for helping Andrew Scheer get over the finish line in the party’s leadership race.

A familiar sight to residents of the town of Battleford will be back up and running soon. Work is ongoing to get the clock in the tower of the old Battleford post office building operational again.

Mary Flynn of Turtleford, SK passed away on Wednesday May 10th, 2017 at the age of 93. Mary was born in Glasgow, Scotland to James and Margaret Forrest. At six years old her family immigrated to Lumsden, SK area.
