The jolly man himself paid a special visit to the residents of Battlefords Residential Services Inc. at their annual Christmas party held Wednesday, Dec. 14 at the Territorial Alliance Church.

Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation received two donations Monday totalling more than $4,000. Members of the Historic Battlefords Lions Club presented a $2,000 cheque to BUHF Executive Director Claudette McGuire.

Two recent search warrant executions by Battlefords RCMP have resulted in drug and firearms charges. Several women were arrested Monday after a single-family residence on the 1300 block of 97th Street was searched at about 11:30 p.m.
