Seven of the eight teams in the Saskatchewan Female Midget AAA Hockey League have had the chance to play in front of their home crowd this season. The Battlefords Sharks will finally get that opportunity this weekend.

Battleford's election results are in and Ames Leslie has been unofficially declared mayor with 680 votes. Challenging Leslie in the mayor's race was David George, who received 347 votes.
