Mrs. Ruth Woodworth of Battleford, Saskatchewan passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 10th, 2016 at the Battlefords District Care Centre at the age of 95 years.

Changes accommodate injured business owner

North Battleford Fire Department are now confirming it is really spring, as they report attending a grass fire behind the Don Ross Centre Monday at about 2:45 p.m.

Norene "Noni" Ellen Gabruch, a life-time resident of the Battlefords, passed away Wednesday April 6, 2016 at her home in north battleford. She was 85.

The Maidstone RCMP are currently investigating a hit and run that occurred during the early morning hours of April 9 in Lashburn. An unidentified man was observed getting into a white Chevrolet pickup truck with an unknown Saskatchewan licence plate.

Saturday the library art work and hand craft display will be held at the Maymont Memorial Hall from 4 to 8 p.m. The library is also hosting a potluck supper at the hall that day starting at 5 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Donations will be accepted.
