Last week marked the official start of pre-construction at the new Saskatchewan Hospital and integrated correctional facility in North Battleford.

It was a night of good food, dancing and donations at the Tropical Inn as the Battlefords Catholic Family Services held their 23rd annual charity dinner and auction Saturday evening.

Lyle Zacharias passed peacefully on Thursday, April 30th, 2015 at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie Ontario at the age of 59. He is predeceased by his father, Abram Zacharias (1966), sister, Leanne Joy (at birth 1964).

Dear Editor There’s a concrete pool, roughly five feet by five feet and five feet deep. It’s in the middle of Central Park adjacent to the library. I don’t know its history or much about it, but at one time it must have been a beautiful fountain.
