It took five hours of negotiation to defuse a dangerous situation at a residence in the 600 block of 102nd Street Sunday. Battlefords RCMP say they were notified at about 4 p.m. of an intoxicated man threatening to harm himself with a firearm.

Battlefords RCMP are seeking information about a Saskatoon man who took a bus from that city to North Battleford and was last seen in North Battleford at about 4:30 p.m. March 19. Blayne Redcalf, 43, is aboriginal, 5’4, 210 lbs.
