Harry passed away peacefully in Shellbrook Hospital on December 3, 2014, at the age of 87. He was born April 7, 1927 to Nykola and Lulia (Stasyk) on the Homestead in the district of Glaslyn.

Layne Young had three points to lead the Battlefords AAA Stars (16-5-0-0) over the Beardy’s Blackhawks (5-13-0-1) 4-1 Thursday. Young scored twice and assisted on another as every goal scored in the game came in the third period.
