An author with Battlefords connections will be in the community to launch her latest book next week. Elinor Florence will be in Battleford at the Saskatchewan launch of her novel Bird's Eye View at Fred Light Museum Friday, Oct. 31 from 1 to 3 p.m.

St. James CWL held its 14th annual Pink Night Oct. 15, in support of the Breast Health Centre in Saskatoon. When the doors opened at 6:15 p.m., the crowd poured in and the basement of the church was filled to capacity in a sea of pink.

With harvest done, quilters reconvene
