The Battlefords RCMP responded to more than 40 calls for service between 6 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22 and 6 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 23.

Another 4-H year for the members of the Eagle Hills 4-H Club is in full swing. The club has already had two general meetings. At the meetings: the members elected their executive for the year, discussed possible fun days and fundraising.

The leaves have turned and mostly fallen, the air crisp in the morning frost, autumn is officially here, but it has certainly been a beautiful one.
