Maidstone Museum is closed for the summer season, but visits can be arranged by appointment until the snow falls. Members had a busy summer with more than 400 visitors signing the book. Some may have been missed.

We wish Walter Campbell a speedy recovery. He is presently recuperating in an Edmonton hospital. The Waseca Hall Committee members are making final arrangements for the fall supper to be held on Sunday, Nov. 2. Many phone calls have yet to be made.

Chad Keens has been the golf pro and clubhouse manager at Meota and District Lakeside Golf Course for nine years. This summer he lost his left leg below the knee due to undiagnosed diabetes. Keens was unable to return to work following the surgery.
