A man convicted of child porn possession in 2010 and again in 2012 has breached his conditions again.

The Sunshine Vaulters is an exciting new group of equestrian vaulters involved in a relatively new sport to Canada. Equestrian vaulting is the sport of gymnastics on a moving horse.

A few weeks ago, a group of public art fans yarnbombed Central Park in North Battleford, dressing trees in colourful knitted sleeves and stringing crocheted banners throughout the branches.

The North Battleford RCMP received approximately 36 calls for service between 6 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 16 and 6 a.m. Friday, Oct. 17.

It's a paradox. There are a lot of organizations out there whose main goal is not to get bigger and richer. As nice as bigger and richer might be, these organizations instead are purpose-driven.

Oct. 2, members of the Rivers' Edge Quilt Guild met at the Don Ross craft room at 1 p.m. for their monthly meeting. The meeting gives the members an opportunity to display monthly projects, share ideas and learn new things.

A sincere thank you to our "rural" neighbours who took the time out of their busy harvest season to clean and till an unsightly accumulation of rocks, weeds and leftover cement that has collected just past our property.

The dry weather we have been enjoying has enabled farmers to make good progress with harvest operations. Quite a number have completed combining and others report having very little left to do. It is always a relief when the weather co-operates.
