I spent most of my adult life working as a mechanical technician then computer programmer in Ontario. I come originally from Hamilton, Ont., and spent time in several communities working in technical positions.

I cannot believe how quickly August snuck up on us. Relatively, give or take a few storms along the way, we have enjoyed a nice July. Let's hope August brings us more of the same.
