Ukrainian cinematographer brothers Andriy and Pylyp Rozhen held a screening of their documentary, titled Winter That has Changed Us, Saturday evening at the St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Orthodox Church in North Battleford.

The North Battleford RCMP were busy between 6 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2 and 6 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 3, receiving approximately 49 calls.

The North Battleford Fire Department, RCMP and WPD responded to a two-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon. At approximately 3:45 p.m., the NBFD was called to the scene of a collision on 19th Avenue.

Reports of gun shots drew the North Battleford RCMP to Trudeau Street early Sunday morning. The RCMP responded to a call shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday of shots being fired on the 1800 block of Trudeau Street.

Between 6 a.m. Friday, Aug. 1 and 6 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, approximately 45 calls for service/occurrences including three false alarms, four false/nuisance 911 calls and one noise complaint were reported to North Battleford RCMP. 8:28 a.m.

The three-year-old girl struck by a motor vehicle on the Mosquito First Nation on July 29 died in hospital Friday morning as a result of the injuries she received.

North Battleford Fire Department reports they responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of 16th Avenue and 100th Street. The incident took place Friday morning around 8:39 a.m.
