Beavers pitcher Dave Millar had another strong outing as North Battleford downed the Unity Cardinals 4-2 Friday night at Beaver Lions Stadium. It was the final home game of the regular season for the Beavers.

And it rains and it rains! Although reports say the southwest is dry, the northwest is anything but dry. The main topic of conversation lately is the unending cool wet weather.

Kevin Newton and his daughter Kianna of Choiceland were here on the weekend to visit with Denise Newton. A number of the apartment ladies enjoyed the Father's Day tea at the Drop In on Friday.
