Gas tax agreement signed
The provincial government has again signed on to a gas tax agreement with the government of Canada. The agreement, spanning 10 years, will send $56.3 million to municipalities for infrastructure projects in the year 2014-15.

Slow week keeps Twins atop NSRBL standings
It was a slow week in the NSRBL with the holiday weekend, keeping a light six-game schedule. There was one game June 25. The Flyers edged the St. Walburg Reds 9-8 in Mervin. Four games were on the schedule June 26.
