There has been much hand wringing over the claimed disappearance of the middle class.

July 1 festivities enjoyed

Rose Danychuk spent a few days in Biggar. While there her two great-grandchildren were baptized. Her daughter Nancy and great-granddaughter brought her home. They stayed overnight going home the next day.

The burial funeral service for Arthur Bater took place at the Baljennie St. Bridget's cemetery July 6. Arthur passed away in October 2013. Family members and friends attended the service.

Centre activities take summer recess

Cribbage was played at the Maidstone Drop In Centre June 16 with high score going to Lil McMillan and low to Jean Stewart. Lunch was from the Father's Day Tea and bake sale. Bingo was played June 18 with Joan Smith and Margaret MacEachern calling.
