Yvette and Brian McGown of Belbutte celebrated their 65th birthdays, which are one week apart, on the evening of May 31 in the Belbutte community hall. There was a full house of well wishers who sang Happy Birthday as well as giving many cards.

The high school track meet was held May 25 and 26 in North Battleford. The weather co-operated so all the events were able to be completed. The school sent a full team of athletes from students in Grades 7 to 12.

What began as a Saskatchewan Wheat Pool farm supply store in North Battleford 25 years ago, becoming a Viterra outlet in 2007, is now a Co-op Farm Supply site. A grand opening for the supply centre at 10060 Hereford St.
