Warm weather has boosted call outs for the Battlefords RCMP. Members responded to approximately 27 calls for service between 6 a.m. Tuesday, March 11 and 6 a.m. Wednesday. Tuesday 7:54 a.m.

Thaw Advisory

The City of North Battleford is asking drivers to be cognizant whenever driving through puddles. Try not to splash pedestrians, and be mindful that under the water there may be potholes that can be damaging to vehicles.

Dangerous ice

The North Battleford Fire Department is advising residents to stay off ice covered bodies of water ie: the North Saskatchewan River. With the rising temperatures and rapid melting, the ice has become unstable and is extremely unsafe.

North Stars donate to Heart and Stroke Foundation

The Battlefords North Stars partnered with the Heart and Stroke Foundation over the last two weeks and helped to raise $710.50 for the foundation. At the final regular season home game, Heart and Stroke had a table set up to collect donations.
