Activities planned to honour school staff

I am so excited about this month as it is filled with two of my favourite events - celebrating family birthdays and watching the best of curling on TV. Opening ceremonies for the Olympics will also be on the agenda.

We have a bit of catching up to do this week. Things have been slow around Edam in the news department. The last trip of the month draw for 2013 was won by Brian and Carol Weber of Vawn, with Terry Chambers of Turtleford winning the $100.

Cold week survived, with no envy of weather elsewhere
