This week the Battlefords Art Club meeting was attended by a very select few. But we managed to enjoy ourselves with laughter and lot sof creative sharing as well as helpful exchanges of various kinds.

Colleen Koski went to Pine Island Lodge and took her mom May Ford for a drive in the country. She enjoyed it, but was glad to be back. Morris and Maureen Stewart of Leduc, Alta. were Monday lunch guests with their mom Jean Stewart.

Radisson Parade had 134 entries and was led by school children holding the 100-year banner. Flag bearers were Earl Kieper and Allison Sutherland and parade marshal was retired Colonel Larry Crabb and his wife Helen.

Locals support Quilting for Calgary

Thirty quilts were completed and made ready to be taken to Calgary Aug. 19 by a Calgary resident who has spent the summer in Saskatchewan. She will deliver them to "Quilting for Calgary" and they will distribute them to Alberta's flood areas.
