June 10 was the last St. Walburg Royal Purple meeting before the summer break. This was also Decoration Day, but due to a wet, dreary day, members were unable to visit the graves of departed Royal Purple members.

The town of Glaslyn is once again hosting a Summer Solstice Street Fair June 21 from 4 to 8 p.m. According to Gerry Stroshein of the Glaslyn and District Chamber of Commerce, the event will happen come rain or shine that day.
