There was a motor vehicle accident Friday afternoon at the entrance to Sobeys. The call came in at around 4:02 p.m., according to North Battleford Fire. Two vehicles were involved in the collision on Territorial Drive right at the Sobeys entrance.

Logan's Audio video has announced it is expanding during its 25th anniversary year in the Battlefords. The store has recently undergone extensive renovation in preparation for a Bell Mobility store to go in that location.

Bill Sittler from Wilkie will be inducted into the individual category of the Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame, as a player/builder Aug. 17. Sittler was born May 15, 1955 to Norbert and Geraldine Sittler, and he was raised on a farm near Leipzig.
