There was a potluck supper held on April 27 for Ken and Karen Anderson at the senior's center in Maymont. There were 25 people who attended the supper. The new owners who purchased Ken and Karen's home were also in attendance.

Battlefords and District Co-operative Ltd. has officially merged with the Radisson Co-op. Co-op members in the Battlefords approved the amalgamation at a special meeting in North Battleford April 30.

Dear Editor April 24, I attended the Saskatchewan Union of Nurses annual meeting in Regina. There were 309 nurses. We were excited to hear from Dustin Duncan, minister of health. Mr. Duncan spoke briefly about some budget items.
