REITER - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marguerite Reiter, late of North Battleford, on April 22, 2013 at the age of 84 years. Marguerite was born on December 1, 1928 at Lemsford, Saskatchewan.

White walls everywhere you look. Locked doors, buzzers to go in, buzzers to go out. "Crazy" people with bugged out eyes and drool trickling down their chins, slowly shuffling down the halls. These people are condemned. They are ghosts.

John G. Wilkins was born to Ernest and Elise Wilkins on June 12, 1905 in Reston, Man. Ernest and Elsie had immigrated from England in 1891. John's three brothers, Harold, Art and Bruce, rounded out the Wilkins family.

Bryan Nylander, president of North West Regional College, announced to the college's board of governors April 29 his intent to retire effective Sept. 30. Nylander has been an employee of NWRC for 23 years, with over 16 years as president and CEO.

Much appreciated is the work done almost every day by the maintenance personnel of the North Battleford Housing Authority.

NEWSTED ~ Margaret Joan Newsted of Maidstone, Saskatchewan passed away peacefully in the Maidstone Hospital surrounded by family on Friday, April 26, 2013 at the age of 94 years.
