I groan as I write this article. It seems as though the news has been focused on the wonderful winter weather we have been experiencing; it is what seems to put this province on the map. Last Wednesday was the official start of spring.

Stolen copper worth $15,000

Maidstone RCMP say sometime between Feb. 21 and 26 a lease site in the RM of Britannia was entered and perpetrators unravelled a large roll of cableand fled withapproximately $15,000.00 worth of copper cable.
