North Battleford city council is holding off until next month on a decision to take on an outside firm to collect outstanding municipal tax arrears. A recommendation had been made to engage Western Municipal Tax Solutions Inc.

Dear Editor The Harper Government has been using the phrase, "Standing up for farmers" when they make agricultural announcements. But I think "sticking it to farmers" is more realistic.

A beautiful, bright, sunny day was enjoyed by Battleford Art Club members at Don Ross Centre Tuesday. Several were doing acrylics, watercolours and zentangle. Ev is doing a beautiful, sheer shower curtain, adorning it with tropical fish.
