The end of November means the end of Movember. For many wives and girlfriends this is indeed a celebratory moment.

A group of interested antique gas tractor personnel met at the Western Development Museum in North Battleford Nov. 9. There are a few antique gas tractors that are in need of repairs before they are usable.

Our sympathy to the McMillan family on the passing of Harold McMillan of Lloydminster. Harold was Milt's brother. Milt and Lil attended the funeral in Lloydminster Saturday.

As is everywhere, the snow plows have been busy in the village. If the snowfall continues as it has done so far, the amount of snow around by spring will be something we have not seen for some years. The Yellowhead Ramblers band has been busy.

With the snowmobile riding season already underway in most parts of the province, the Saskatchewan Safety Council encourages everyone across the province to have a safe snowmobile season.

The following deadlines are for Farm Families enrolled in, or planning to enrol in, the Ministry of Agriculture's Farm Business Development Initiative (FBDI), or the Young Farm Business Development Initiative (YFBDI).

The H. Hardcastle School Grade 4-6 classes held a mini folk fest Nov. 8 during the afternoon in the gym. All were invited to attend and several judges had a difficult time picking winners for each grade.

The statistics are out for October and they show crime continuing to go down in North Battleford. The monthly crime report, presented to North Battleford city council Monday by Staff Sgt.

The Battlefords Bantam AA Barons are preparing for the final push of the season before the Christmas break, as they sit at 5-5-0 on the season. The Barons won their last game by a 7-4 score.

Four of the teams in the Saskatchewan Prairie Hockey League were in action on the weekend, as the season officially started for Cut Knife, Perdue, Hafford and Spiritwood.
