There was no surprise again when the Flin Flon Bombers were named the Source Embroidery Power Rankings top team once again. The Bombers were 8-0-0-0 on the season and lost their first game Tuesday. That loss came in Yorkton, the second overall team.

GREENBANK - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gladys Louise Greenbank, late of North Battleford, Saskatchewan on September 18, 2012 at the age of 84 years. Gladys was born on August 27, 1928 at Craigmyle, Alberta.

As I sit here writing the news, the snow is coming down and in places the ground is white. I guess winter has decided to come. Who knows, maybe it will clear up again.
