Bus tour group visits Maidstone Museum

Maidstone Museum members welcomed a bus tour group of 47 people Aug. 9. Members provided guided tours and a bountiful lunch was served. With the help of a few new younger members, numerous jobs have been accomplished.

Tax evasion guilty plea

A Nipawin man who worked in Wilkie has plead guilty to tax evasion in North Battleford provincial court. The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) announced Friday that John Wesley Scott, 56, pleaded guilty to tax evasion and was fined $21,626.
CUPlex completion draws closer

CUPlex completion draws closer

Substantial completion has been achieved for both the curling centre and now the aquatic centre at the CUPlex. That good news was relayed to city council Monday night by parks and recreation director Keith Anderson.

Disc Golf Course Open
