Former North Star signs European contract

It has been six seasons since Derek Keller wore a Battlefords North Stars uniform. Since then, he has played two seasons with the South Carolina Stingrays of the East Coast Hockey League and four years at St. Lawrence University.

Battleford detour Thursday

Traffic along Highway 4, Highway 40, and 22nd Street in Battleford will be detoured around the four-way stop intersection while crews pave in the area Thursday. The detour is expected to last through the morning, returning to normal in the afternoon.
