The North Battleford Comprehensive High School Vikings looked to get back in the win column against Prince Albert Carlton, but that wasn't the case Friday.

Ask most Canadians about Canadian identity and they'll say, between sips of Tim Horton's coffee and over the din of a hockey game, that there's no such thing.

The North Battleford Comprehensive High School Junior Vikings football season recently came to an end after a short season.

Starting Oct. 19 an exhibition in the main salon of the Chapel Gallery will be Only Human by Iris Hauser. Hauser is one of Saskatchewan's most prolific artists and exhibits her work in solo and group exhibitions across the country.

"We have been talking for about three-weeks now - our goal wasn't just to compete in games any longer it was to take a victory," said John Paul II Crusaders football coach Bruce Yockey.

FROLEK: In Loving Memory of Hazel Anne Frolek (nee McPherson) who was born April 3, 1928 at RM of Great Bend near Borden, SK and passed away September 22, 2011 at North Battleford, SK.

The school's annual Terry Fox Walk was held Sept. 28. It was a lovely fall day for a walk. The total raised for cancer research was $761.00. The staff supplied bottled water for all the participants.
