Mozart's "greatest hits" were on tap Saturday evening at a fundraiser for the continuing renovation of the Battleford Opera House, along with an announcement that the first phase of the restoration has earned its designer an award.

Battleford Lions are hosting a Purina Walk for Dog Guides, Sunday, May 29. Registration is from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the Lions Clubhouse at 162- 22nd St. in Battleford. The Walk begins at 2 p.m.

Wade Worman reports the senior badminton team wrapped up their season prior to the Easter break. The students had a successful year, including three teams qualifying for divisions in Meadow Lake.
