Mega-Volley marks 30th anniversary

Mega-Volley has come and gone for another year in Maidstone. The popular tournament is played on courts in the Maidstone arena, the high school and the elementary gyms. The first weekend is for senior play and the second is for junior.

Industrial accident death north of Glaslyn

The St. Walburg detachment of the RCMP is investigating a fatal industrial accident 30 kilometres north of Glaslyn along Highway 4. Late Wednesday afternoon, RCMP in Turtleford received a 911 call to go to an asphalt plant north of Glaslyn.
