The regular monthly wellness clinic was held at Waseca Community Centre Sept. 15. Flu shots are available at he October clinic each year. Plan to have your flu shot at the clinic Oct. 20.

Significant drops in break and enters and person offences highlight the monthly statistics from the RCMP Battlefords city detachment in August. Most notable was the drop in residential break and enters from 33 in August 2010 to six last month.

Shelter not euthanizing impounded animals

Dear Editor The Battleford's Humane Society made the decision to close its impound area Sept 9 due to a number of dogs infected with parvo being present in this area. This is a very contagious disease and spreads readily.
