The 1900 block of 99th street will be closed for most of today (Sept. 8) due to a water main break. In addition, and not related to repairs, the hot weather is affecting the colour of water in various areas of the city again.

HUZIAK: In Loving Memory of Audrey Corinne Huziak who was born November 14, 1966 at Borden, SK and passed away August 21, 2011 at Saskatoon, SK.

Tanned and taller students were welcomed back with joy and laughter as they returned to classes at Ratushniak Elementary School in Maidstone last week.

HERZOG: Ruth Ingeborg, late of Battleford, SK, passed away on August 23, 2011 at the age of 89 years. Ruth was born on March 5, 1922. She grew up in the Parkside District until the age of 10, when the family moved to Deer Ridge.

The halls and walls haven't changed much over the summer but the start of a new school year fills those halls with new faces and hopes.
