I love this season in Saskatchewan. I spend a lot of time on the road as a storyteller and children's entertainer and I like to take advantage of the ice-free roads to visit family and friends.

Long-term care beds pilot project launched

The Prince Albert Parkland Health Region will be opening four additional long-term care beds at the Hafford Special Care Centre and Primary Care Centre, as part of a pilot project to relieve pressure on acute care beds.

Funding approved for additional officers

North Battleford will soon have five new RCMP officers, according to a press release Tuesday from the Government of Saskatchewan. Three of the five officers will be funded by the government and the other two by the City of North Battleford.
