The Communities in Bloom committee held their Residential Garden Tour July 21, with 35 people registering for the tour. Refreshments and gardening tips were offered by each of the hosts.

Blaine Lake Gospel Chapel hosted a gourmet supper June 18. Terry and Denyse Rapsey co-ordinated the supper and recruited assistance from Don and Martha Fehr and Sharron Krill to serve the meal.

Volunteers at Honeywood (Dr. A.J. Porter) Heritage Nursery spend many hours organizing, preparing and hosting events as fundraisers for the nursery located 130 km north of Saskatoon and 54 km west of Prince Albert.

The annual Battlefords Sailing club regatta took place in front of the clubhouse at Meota on the weekend, and although the number of boats was lower than expected, it was still a great weekend of sailing.
