Trade show welcomes spring

The snow may still be falling but the season is changing and with spring comes the Maidstone Chamber of Commerce's 27th Annual Trade Fair. The show will run Saturday April 2 from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Sunday April 3 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Radisson Co-op held their 71st annual meeting March 15 in the Radisson Hall, preceded by a roast beef supper served by the Radisson Recreation Board to 120 people. Fifty-five stayed for the meeting, chaired by Bill Hosegood.

Sex offender extradited

Lon Patrick Ritzo is back in Saskatchewan to answer to a number of charges. The 64-year-old man had been charged by North Battleford RCMP for possession of child pornography and assault in 2006.
