In the wake of a year in which North Battleford's emergency preparedness was put to the test, the city is planning increased preparedness efforts in 2011.

A catered Christmas birthday supper and program was held at the Maidstone Drop In Centre Dec. 12 with approximately 100 seniors in attendance. Caterers were the Catholic ladies, who provided an abundant and delicious supper.
