Broncos Memorial

Three generations of my family have been visiting Saskatchewan and Manitoba every fall as hunters since the 1940’s. And the most memorable part of every trip is the wonderful hospitality of the great folks who live in the prairie provinces.

Glen Doerksen's eulogy was presented at his funeral by his son, Cameron, and is a part of the Humboldt Broncos memorial page with permission from his family.

My grandson Dexter Mcleod and I attended the service for Conner Lukan in Slave Lake. The reason we attended was to show respect for Conner and support for his family and loved ones. Such painthey must have gone through and they must be going through.

With deepest sympathy sending the heart broken message but standing together for all our kids. Wind blows ....so softly...feeling the cold. Roaming Gray clouds.... Silver lines...Silver stars... Falling...falling around. Did you sat ...and wait ...

In November my brother died young and needlessly. There is nothing in this life that prepares you for this. I send these words here from my heart, I hope that they help. To Humboldt, Broncos and Families.
